Join us in the STUDIO on Thursday November 20th at 5:30 PM for a lecture by Christopher Maurer.

Christopher Maurer is an architect and founder of redhouse studio, a Cleveland-based practice pioneering regenerative architecture—an approach that restores ecological systems through design and material innovation. His work explores how architecture can be grown rather than built, transforming waste and carbon into structural materials cultivated with fungi. From community projects that recycle demolition debris into mycelium composites to NASA-funded research developing living habitats for the Moon and Mars, Maurer’s practice reimagines sustainability as a reciprocal relationship between people, materials, and ecosystems.
