Workshop Description:
Beginning with some introductory vocal and movement exercises to loosen distinctions between sound and noise, we will practice reading and interpreting a known text in conversation with recorded sound and music, as an exercise in ensemble interpretation, redaction, rhythm, mood, and juxtaposition in performance. Text will be provided.  We’ll figure out what sounds we want to engage with when we get there. Please wear comfortable clothes, and be prepared to vocalize in a group.

Date: April 11, 2025 | 5:30 – 9:30 PM
