Waves by Sunday Manisto-Saari :: Supported by FRFAF (#2021-016) from STUDIO for Creative Inquiry on Vimeo.

CMU School of Drama undergraduate, Sunday Manisto-Saari, created “Waves”, an original song and music video about “the effects of Covid-19 around the world, the new reality we live in, and a glance into other parts of the world and their response to this pandemic.” Manisto-Saari writes:

“I’ve spent the year with an incredible team thinking about connection, and like all of us, living in the disconnect brought by the pandemic. I made a music video about honoring those who love us and keep us strong, no matter what.

“Friends, musicians, performers, CMU faculty, and alumni all graciously sent in videos to represent the wide range of people experiencing this pandemic in their own unique way. All I can say is how grateful I am for the powerful team of artists who went on this creative journey with me. We are so excited to share this piece!”
