Light Dance
Seth Riskin (1991)
Light Dance, by Seth Riskin, was a performance expressing the theoretical ideas and research that seeks to define the relationships of the human spirit and light. The objective was to “extend” the body with light and “move” space around viewers to engage them in the expression of the performance. Riskin choreographed his movements according to the nature of the space in which he performed since his expression concerned the relationship of the body and space movement.
