Dubied Hand Knitting Machine for Non-Humans

The STUDIO is going to be a home for experiments with MonsterX designer Aqua Lixun Su. Aqua is visiting Pittsburgh by invitation of Prof. Jim McCann of the Robotics Institute CMU Textiles Lab. Aqua’s career in knit construction for garment design has led her towards a research path to moving knit structures beyond the human body.
