Matt Zywica is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Carnegie Mellon School of Design where he teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate level drawing courses. Design drawing content within these courses range from introductory to advanced technique. Sketch practices involve exploring and articulating through exercises of drawing behavior, sketch booking, idea generation, form development, rendering, animation, and visual narrative. Drawing communication values include people nature, design behavior, and interaction. His specialty includes exploring ways of hand crafting media to drive developments of intangible and expressive form. Matt holds a BFA in industrial design from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign.
