UnNerved is a narrative short film created over the summer of 2025 in Chicago, supported by the Syvlia and David Steiner Film Fund of Carnegie Mellon University. The short follows two guy friends who constantly try to one-up each other’s stupid challenges, culminating in a dare involving their girlfriends. However, one of the two’s reasons for participating in this duel is a little more complicated than you might realize.

Credits:
Noam DI Giulio is a sophomore pursuing a BFA in the School of Art. They are interested in storytelling through video media, and enjoy exploring themes of queerness and posthumanism through supernatural and magical realism.
Audra Lee Dobiesz is a sophomore in the Design and Production program in the School of Drama, pursuing the scenic design track. She strives to tell stories through satire and abstraction that translate actors’ ticking brains to the physically tangible plane.
