Set in a gay bar in New York City’s Lower East Side, 69 Love Songs: A Queer Fantasia uses music from the Magnetic Fields’ iconic 1999 album to celebrate queer authenticity at the brink of disaster. Music directed by Aaron Morrison, assistant directed by Pria Dahiya, projection design by Sophia Coscia, stage managed by Kaisa Lee, and featuring a phenomenal cast of role originators, this elevated staged reading is meant to showcase the script and gather feedback and initial reactions from our first audience ever. This piece consists of three acts, with two 10-minute intermissions.

Please stick around afterward for a talkback between the audience and cast/creative team facilitated by Aysha Zackria.
