context.

This project explores communication differences between high-context & low-context cultures—specifically Chinese and American cultures— while highlighting the potential for connection through understanding. Each artifact presents the two cultures front and back: posters visually compare them across four themes—clothing, food, housing, and transportation—while the bilingual publication allows readers to flip between languages, offering cultural context as a dictionary. By guiding viewers through recognition, reflection, and deeper learning, the project reveals that while communication styles may differ, the human intent behind is often shared.
