Pinopticon
Nick Fox-Gieg (2020)Pinopticon is a collection of open-source camera apps for the Raspberry Pi that use computer vision techniques for preprocessing image data and sending it to a server. The project goal is to form a sustainable foundation for computational art installations, scalable to any number of cameras, and networkable using a variety of common protocols (like websockets, OSC, and MJPEG streaming). This project was developed with support from the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry beginning in 2020.
