Obi Mbu (The Primordial House): An Igbo Creation Myth — Pittsburgh Premiere!

Please join us on February 25 at 7pm at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater for the Pittsburgh premiere of “Obi Mbu (The Primordial House): An Igbo Creation Myth” by Mikael Owunna and Marques Redd!

“Obi Mbu” is a 30 minute experimental dance film that retells a West African creation with Black dancers from Pittsburgh Ballet Theater gorgeously illuminated under a backdrop of ultraviolet light.
