Bloom is a fashion line developed during the 2020 COVID semester by CMU School of Architecture undergraduates, Natalie Waldram and Amal Jafrani, for Carnegie Mellon’s student-run fashion show, Lunar Gala. They write: “Our line takes inspiration from the fantasy world of childhood by abstracting the aesthetic of childhood ‘obsessions’.” Bloom was made possible with support from Microgrant #2021-007 from the Frank-Ratchye Fund for Art @ the Frontier.
