Allan Comp, Ph.D. is the AMD & ART Founder. Allan is an historian of technology with extensive experience in historic preservation, environmental improvement and community development. He served as Senior Historian for the Historic American Engineering Record and Chief of Cultural Resources of the National Park Service in the Pacific Northwest. He has received two individual Fellowships in Design Arts from the National Endowment for the Arts, edited Blueprint for the Environment, and earned awards from national, state, and local organizations for his work in training, planning, public art, and interpretation.
