Yours, Mine, Theirs, Ours: It and Us

It and Us by Sarah Keeling is a series of large archival photographic prints created by layering imagery and objects through both analogue and digital means. Staged scenarios and uniquely framed locations are interacted with and altered through a wide variety of artistic media (painting, drawing, projection, digital manipulation, etc.), photographed and printed on a large format printer. These images are then brought back into the studio to be re-integrated in the process, layering content and continuing the cycle until the final image is produced.

It and Us was supported by a microgrant from the Frank-Ratchye Fund for Art @ the Frontier (FRFAF)— an endowment founded to encourage the creation of innovative artworks by the faculty, students and staff of Carnegie Mellon University.
